By using GTS, the advantages do not stop solely with our "all inclusive" package. We have a wide range of services that can be selected, and adapted to match your requirements with the expertise of our sales team.
The extreme flexibility of our organisation and the perfect integration of the resources available means we can create ad hoc shipment plans, which can be changed at any time, right down to creating new routes.
For this reason, instead of having a set price list for customers, we prefer to work out the costs and methods on a case-by-case basis in conjunction with the customer, and then set them down in specific contracts of supply.
Door to door
What makes us different from other intermodal operators is that we provide a real door-to-door service throughout the world. This is real advantage for our customers, who entrust us with their freight, being aware they can count on a partner who ensures punctuality and highest quality, by directly controlling all of the strategic links in the combined transportation chain. A turnkey service, which includes:
- choosing the right unit for the type of freight
- managing rail routes directly, by using shuttle trains with no intermediate stops
- having our own offices at the arrival terminals for on-site freight management
- handling bookings and relations with the loading company
- taking care of paperwork (CMR, POD, COD)
- trucking to and from each terminal
- road haulage both for departures and arrivals
