Terminal operator

In Bari GTS is the owner of two intermodal areas in the heart of the industrial zone.
In these terminals trains are loaded and unloaded in total autonomy and with personnel and equipment managed by GTS, these services are available also for other train operators who require terminalization services.
The terminal accepts both land and sea combined trains.
We are the terminal operators of the most important inland navigation companies such as Maersk and Cosco.

• Terminal Ferruccio, a surface of 50.000mq, No. 3 tracks from 600mt, No. 4 wheeled cranes.
• Lamasinata Scalo, a surface of 17.000mq, No. 2 binary 300mt, No. 2 wheeled cranes.

Terminal services:

• handling of containers and swap bodies with loading and unloading train
• Managing storage in controlled areas;
• Repair and cleaning of swap bodies and containers;
• Local positions;
• Transhipment and storage.

Distances:

• 4km from the motorway A14;
• 5km from the port of Bari that provides daily connections with Greece and the Balkans;
• 0.8 km from SS16.
